Tarun was born and raised in Jammu, India, where he was deeply immersed in the country’s rich spiritual and cultural traditions, which ignited a lifelong passion for Vedic wisdom. After relocating to the United States in 1998, he continued exploring the timeless relevance of India’s ancient teachings while cultivating a fulfilling career and family life.
Tarun holds a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration and works for a prominent global consulting firm, where he merges analytical precision with a strong dedication to human-centered leadership. He resides with his wife, Simran, and their two children, Arjan and Aryaa, who serve as his greatest sources of inspiration.
Driven by a curiosity about how Vedic philosophy intersects with science, mathematics, and philosophy, Tarun endeavors to combine ancient insights with modern perspectives. His passions for painting, reading, and astrophotography reveal his appreciation for beauty, inquiry, and wonder.
In his first work on the Kaṭha Upaniṣad, Tarun strives to make India’s spiritual heritage accessible to contemporary seekers, presenting it with clarity, depth, and devotion. His mission is both simple and profound: to inspire reflection, balance, and inner awakening amid a rapidly changing world.
